Tobias Hünger: was born in Duisburg, Germany in 1972. He started Scottish Country Dancing in 04/2006 in Frankfurt/Main and his experience in Standard and Latin Dancing in a display team in his younger days was very helpful to get familiar with SCD.
In 2009 he joined the RSCDS and in 10/2009 he started his SCD teacher education. Since 2011 he lives in Hude (Oldenburg) and teaches on a regular base the group Potters Pairs in Oldenburg (alternating with three other teachers). He is keen to learn from other teachers by participating in several workshops (Budapest, Kuckucksnest, Zurich, Cologne, Frankfurt , St.Andrews Summer School and many others) and he was member of the SCD German-Team in 2007 - 2010 and 2015.
In 08/2014 he finalized the Unit-5 Teacher Certificate from the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS).
Tobias is able to teach from Beginners' Level up to Advanced Level. He is willing to drive up to 500km single distance for a Week-end Workshop. Ceilidh is not my strength - but I am happy to act as an agent for you to make contact with another teacher (Martin McWilliam).
If you are interested in having a workshop Scottish Country Dance (SCD) or you are looking for a Master Caller (MC) for an evening event or both, get in touch with Tobias and discuss dates & details. My fee should cover travel, B&B costs and a reward dinner after the event :-)
You can see some cornerstones of my teaching history by browsing through the navigator on the left (Workshops in Kuckucksnest, Chemnitz, Hude, Hatten and Trier)
